I attended PTEC in Clearwater Florida were I studied metallurgy, plating and machining for 3 years graduating in 1990 certified in Mig, Tig and Arc welding. That same year I went to work for Bob Coonan of Coonan Customs in Safety Harbor Florida where I worked for a short time in Bob's prep and plating room.

During this time I picked up additional skills and real world knowledge of the custom firearms industry. As fate would have it I took a position with a computer consulting company like every welder does and picked up new skills and ways to bring technology to the firearms design and refinishing industry. Utilizing the latest technology and some of the oldest skills I created JoeWorx Inc. as a side business and hobby in late 2008.

Firearms have always been my passion and true to form I love the latest weapons systems on back to the beginnings of hand held powder driven weapons. I decided that instead of inventing a new mousetrap I would take the time tested and proven traps to the next level and make them even better.
